Abnormal radiation level detected on clothes of Taiwanese traveler 2011/03/16 20:38:01

Taipei, March 16 (CNA) Inspectors at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport detected an abnormal level of radiation on the clothes of a Taiwanese student who returned home from Japan Wednesday, but the level of contamination was moderate and not harmful, an atomic energy official said Wednesday. Lee Jo-tsan, head of the Department of Radiation Protection under the Cabinet-level Atomic Energy Council (AEC), said the student just needed to wash himself and could continue with his normal life.
